IYTE "WHAT WE PRODUCE"

İzmir Institute of Technology (İYTE) Chemical Engineering Department held the 13th National Chemical Engineering Congress (UKMK2016) of the "What to Produce Events and Project Competition" on a regular basis every year, on August 25, 2016, at Wyndham Grand Hotel Özdilek. In the competition, which was held with the participation of approximately 108 students from different universities in Turkey, 36 undergraduate and 19 graduate projects were evaluated by a 29-person jury group consisting of industrialists and academics. As a result of this evaluation, Çağrı Eyüboğlu, Özge Doğan, Şevval Kazak, and Elif Nur Avcı from the MC365 group, which represents our department, and whose consultancy is Assoc. Dr. Serdar Aktaş won the first prize with their project named “Pure Zirconium Oxide Production from Zirconium Silicate”.
